Submitting recordings

What file types do you accept?

MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, and MOV are accepted. If your video is too large to upload directly, you can provide a private or unlisted link instead.

Does it need to be a studio-quality recording?

No. A clear phone recording is absolutely fine. The aim is useful, specialist feedback rather than a polished production.

Can I send a private video link instead of uploading a file?

Yes. The submission form includes an optional secure link field for large videos or externally hosted recordings.

Feedback and delivery

What do I receive after I submit?

Each submission includes a written PDF report plus a 3-5 minute audio response from the assigned tutor.

Where do I find my completed feedback?

Everything is delivered through the student portal so submissions, audio replies, and reports stay together in one place.

How long does feedback take?

Feedback is returned within 48 hours. The current timing is shown clearly on the website and at checkout so students know what to expect before they submit.

Privacy and tutors

Who will review my recording?

Brass and Singing submissions are routed to Jemma Andrews. Percussion submissions are routed to Tim Clapp.

Are recordings kept private?

Yes. Recordings are handled within the feedback workflow and are not made public as part of the service.

Can I come back to old feedback later?

Yes. Completed submissions stay available in the student portal so the feedback can be revisited later.
