How it works

How It Works

A clear route from recording to specialist feedback: upload once, choose the right instrument family, and receive practical notes to use in practice.

Matched tutor review PDF report Audio response

From upload to feedback.

The workflow stays deliberately simple so students and parents understand what happens before they pay.

01

Submit the performance

Upload an MP3, video file, or private link during checkout, then add a short note about the help you want.

02

Matched to the right tutor

The submission is routed to the tutor responsible for the instrument family selected during checkout.

03

Receive the feedback pack

The student receives a written PDF report and audio response inside the private portal, ready to revisit during practice.

What to prepare before submitting

  • One clear recording of the performance you want reviewed
  • The piece title or exercise name
  • A short note on the main thing you want help with
  • An optional private link if the video file is too large to upload directly

What the student receives

  • A concise written report with strengths and next steps
  • A 3-5 minute audio explanation from the assigned tutor
  • Private portal access to submissions and completed feedback
  • Guidance for the next practice session

Who reviews each submission

Brass Jemma Andrews
Singing Jemma Andrews
Percussion Tim Clapp

Handled privately and securely

Your recording is not made public. It is reviewed for the feedback order, delivered through the private portal, and kept inside the submission workflow rather than the public media library.

  • Only the assigned tutor reviews the submission
  • Feedback stays accessible inside the portal
  • Useful for exams, auditions, performances, and confidence-building
The point is to give students something they can use in the next practice session: clear direction from someone who understands the instrument. The IFHub approach

Submit a performance and receive specialist feedback within 48 hours.
